"Insight, strategy & idea
Samsung needed to establish a distinctive proposition to compete with other smart phones. The Samsung Galaxy S features Swype, the main USP in the category. With Swype you can enter words in one flowing motion at a touch screen, allowing 50% faster word processing.
The target audience (16-35 year old) leads active lives and don't want to miss out on anything, but they can't be in two places at the same time. They need duplication.
How can we facilitate the consumers' need for 'duplication' in order to keep them quickly and realtime up-to-speed in their busy life and environment, and show them the new Samsung Galaxy S with Swype.

Creative execution
For consumers who are away on holiday, or have other commitments clashing with their favourite events, Samsung Mobile introduced the service SuperSwypers. A SuperSwyper is a roving personal reporter who can be sent anywhere, to do blow-by-blow accounts for you, of events you can't attend. SuperSwypers are quick, because they use Swype. At the website, the consumer tells us which event he can't attend: a concert but also a birthday party. Samsung chooses the best SuperSwyper to make his personal 'SwypeStory'. The SuperSwyper starts every SwypeStory with a personal video, checks in (Foursquare) at the location when he arrives, and then reports everything that he sees, smells, hears and feels at the event. Everything - text, photo's and video's - is published live viaTwitter, Facebook and YouTube with the Samsung Galaxy S. Samsung finishes the personal service for the consumer with the complete SwypeStory send via Issuu (digital publishing tool).

Results & Effectiveness

More than 160 consumers got a personal SwypeStory, our SuperSwypers reached 620,000 people and gave a live Swype demo to more than 4,800 people. We had more than 270,000 Twitter contacts and over 600,000 video streams. Most importantly, Swype was most associated with Samsung: 39% TOMA versus runner up Nokia (13%), leveraging Samsung's unique propsition. With intensive PR (including celebrity endorsement) seeding and guerrilla (if you were the first to see the SuperSwyper after he checked in at the event and shout the codeword, you immediately received a Samsung Galaxy S), we increased earned media.

Adshel Mobile - Transformers Case Study

A video case study about an out of home Adshel campaign for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie.

The campaign incorporated 50 sites of Adshels Bluetooth network (out of 200 sites), making this the largest integrated mobile and outdoor campaign to date. The BlueZone downloads offered throughout the network include video trailers, ring tones, screensavers and movie alerts plus a movie voucher that can be redeemed at a Hoyts Candy Bar.

Case study: IKEA - Radio with images

IKEA opened its latest store in Gothenburg and wanted to interact with its audience in a new and innovative way by combining old and new media. Together with Swedish mobile marketing agency Mobiento, ad agency Forsman & Bodenfors and media agency Mediaedge:CIA, it created a radio-to-mobile campaign where users were prompted to text the keyword IKEA to a shortcode in order to get exclusive offers and take part in a world premiere: radio with image.

Listeners heard two radio commercials, one early in the break to create attention and one late in the break to create interaction. In the first commercial listeners were urged to sms to take part in the experiment. In the second spot a voice told people to click to the mobile site and change image at every BEEP. The result was a 70s style school slideshow where people could see offers and deals with images and get information about the opening of the new IKEA store.

The result had thousands of interaction points over a few days and the campaign left a prolonged psychological impact and a digital footprint in each users phone, something a radio spot can otherwise never attain.

On parle souvent de Facebook et des ses 20 millions d’utilisateurs français, mais il y a tout de même 2,4 millions d’utilisateurs de Twitter en France selon une étude de Semiocast, soit 1,1% des utilisateurs de Twitter. Bon ok, la France ne figure qu’en 17ème position, le trio de tête étant constitué des États-Unis, du Japon et du Brésil, sans oublier cependant le Royaume-Uni qui occupe la 4ème place mondiale en termes d’utilisateurs. Alors, vous êtes plutôt utilisateur de Twitter, Facebook ou les deux ?

AXA makes tv ad you can step into

Here is another pretty cool campaign from AXA in Belgium on the back of some great recent work. It’s what they are calling an iMmercial, which makes no sense, but sounds fantastic, creating an interactive experience from a live TV ad using QR codes and your iPhone.
